TRANSCEND DYNAMIX AND CVI | Public Firewalk Experience

SATURDAY 17 OCTOBER 2026 | STARTS 17H00 | WALK AT 19H00 | CENTURION

A Firewalk Is Not Just A Stunt. It Is A Profound Psychological Breakthrough.

One evening. One path of glowing coals. One decision to stop carrying this year and start the next one on your own terms. Transcend Dynamix and Cobus Visser International invite you to Die Stoep, Candlewoods Country Estate, for a guided public Firewalk led by Master Firewalking Instructor Cobus Visser and certified firewalking instructors Lydia Benatar and Christa Coetzee.

Three Things Change When You Walk On Fire

  • Fear loses its final say. The moment you step off the coals, you hold real proof that you can act even when every instinct tells you to stop.
  • Old limits lose their grip. The voice that says "I cannot" goes quiet once you have done the very thing it said was impossible.
  • Confidence comes home with you. The courage you find on the coals becomes a reference point for your next hard conversation, big decision or fresh start.

That is the real transformation. Not the fire itself, but the shift in how you see yourself when you walk away from it.

Open to the public. No experience needed. Full safety briefing. Guided every step of the way.

Walk The Coals With Someone Who Knows Fire

Professional expertise you can trust. This public Firewalk is a collaboration between Transcend Dynamix and Cobus Visser International, so you walk with experienced instructors beside you.

Cobus Visser is Africa's only certified Master Firewalking Instructor. He has led more than 2,000 Firewalks and guided over 13,000 people safely across the coals.

Lydia Benatar, co-founder of Transcend Dynamix, is a Certified Firewalking Instructor, trained by Firewalking Africa and recognised by the Global Firewalking Association (GFA).

Christa Coetzee, co-founder of Transcend Dynamix, is a Certified Firewalking Instructor, trained by Firewalking Africa and recognised by the Global Firewalking Association (GFA).

For you, that means every part of the evening follows established best practice, is led by people with extensive training, and respects what the Firewalk asks of you.

Safety is our foundation. Your safety, and the safety of the venue, come first. From the moment we build the fire until the final debrief, Firewalking Africa and GFA qualified professionals manage every step. That includes:

  • Rigorous safety protocols: clear procedures for building the fire, managing the coals and guiding the walk itself.
  • Hands-on supervision: attentive, personal guidance for every walker from arrival to the moment you step off the coals.
  • Environmental responsibility: we build, maintain and safely put out the fire correctly, and leave Die Stoep clean and respected.

Know Exactly How Your Evening Unfolds

  1. Arrive and settle in. Arrive from 17h00. Check in, sign your indemnity form, and watch us build the fire at Die Stoep.
  2. The pre-walk talk. A focused preparation session gets your mind ready for the walk. This is also your full safety briefing.
  3. The walk. At 19h00 we rake the coals into a path. When you are ready, and only when you are ready, you step forward and walk. The group stands right there with you.
  4. The post-walk talk. This is where the evening turns into something you keep. Lydia helps you connect what you just did to the real challenge waiting for you at home or at work.
  5. Take it with you. You leave with your Firewalker silicone arm band, a daily reminder of what you did on 17 October.

The evening starts at 17h00 and the walk begins at 19h00. Wear comfortable clothing, including trousers you can roll up to the knee. You will walk barefoot.

Staying for dinner? Die Stoep serves meals at your own cost, so you can round off the night with a proper celebration.
